Street Fonts : Graffiti Alphabet from around the world. Amazing and funny artwork from digital artists around the world, depicting what kind of a creature would emerge if two or more animals were. To art fans though, particularly street art fans, Eine is known as the one who big font letters helped kick-start a different sort of communication and visual freedom of speech with the public in East London, over ten years ago. Don't Panic has teamed up with Thames & Hudson to give you the chance to see your own street font displayed alongside those featured in Claudia Walde's new book, Street Fonts: Graffiti Alphabets from Around the World. Is typographer and type designer, Don is a graffiti writer. Like this we illuminated two areas quite wonderfully: The socio-political importance of the political graffiti, street art and graffiti writing on-site in the Middle East and the “State of the art” by artists from around the world, who integrate contemporary Arabic calligraphy into graffiti writing . Street Fonts is a graffiti alphabets book from artists around the world, I picked this up last month after seeing a preview on the internet. 320 pages, more than 150 artists and 400+ Illustrations. How did your views (especially concerning types / fonts) differ from each other? Graffiti alphabet designs are often warped, with key parts of the letter's anatomy exaggerated or decorated. Over the past two years, Claudia Walde has been gathering different graffiti interpretations of the alphabet from all over the world. Tracing the evolution of graffiti from its early freight-train days to its big-city boom on the streets of New York City and Philadelphia, and to its modern-day influences, this volume is a compelling look at the key moments, places, and from more than two hundred photographers, The History of American Graffiti is fantastic well written in a typcial Gastman manner. Though the graffiti scene in the Arab world is still young, over the past few years it quickly took over the streets of its cities. Graffiti Lettering and Alphabets Although there is no one distinct lettering style for graffiti, there is a variety of fonts that are popularly used by street artists. Claudia Walde spent over two years collecting alphabets by 154 artists from 30 countries. Depth is created by giving the letters Wicked Photoshopped Animal Hybrids. Here is the first preview of “Street Fonts – Graffiti alphabets from around the world” with short descriptions by the publishers.
